New Programs
PROFESSIONAL TRAINING
The Center offered a new, full-day seminar in fall 2010, GIS for Public Gardens: Getting Started. This hands-on workshop guides participants through the process of creating GIS for a public garden (or similar institution) using Esri ArcGIS and the Alliance for Public Gardens GIS (APGG) Public Garden Data Model on individual work stations. The workshop took place on October 23, 2010 at the University of Delaware and was led by Brian Morgan, developer of the data model. CPH is working with instructors and partners to offer additional GIS workshops in 2011. Video files of the workshop and other instructional resources are now available for download on the CPH GIS Resource Page.
